STEP A -- DUMP THE NAND GEOMETRY
================================
nand
That is the entire script. It changes nothing. It asks BooSt to print the
NAND's geometry and current partitioning, and you read the numbers off the
serial console.
DO THIS FIRST, ALWAYS, before any repartitioning. It tells you the real size
of YOUR chip rather than the size in somebody's forum post -- and that
distinction is exactly what went wrong during this project.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
0x800 blocks of 0x4000 = 32 MB. A standard netBook Pro.
Use stepB-repartition-540.
0x1000 blocks = 64 MB. An LX prototype.
The value 7e8 is correct for you, and is not
included here; write your own script.
Copy this nbkpro.img to the root of a FAT-formatted CF card, insert it,
connect serial at 115200 8N1, and reset the machine.
