Where Psion's own code did not survive, these are the only evidence of what
PsionLX looked like. The launcher, the right-hand strip and the power button
in the released images were built by measuring against them.
THE PRIMARY REFERENCE

A real netBook Pro prototype running PsionLX, from pulster.de. The
Programs screen with 21 applications in four groups, the Psion
watermark down the left, the TODAY / PROGRAMS / TASKS strip down the
right with the red power button at its foot, and the dock along the
bottom.
Everything that could not be taken from Psion's source was taken
from here: the application names, their grouping, the strip, the
button.
HEAVY COLOUR CAST. Do not sample colours from it.

The Today screen and the boot splash on real hardware, at high
resolution. Good for the watermark and the Today screen's text.
PSION'S OWN ARTWORK
psion-splash_screen.png byte-identical to the copy in Psion's
oe-netbook/gpe-bootsplash/files/. The five
blockletter glyphs in it are the source for
the reconstructed desktop watermark.

Stock GPE on a netBook Pro. The giveaway is the Desk button, which
carries GPE's own paw logo rather than Psion's.
gpe-gallery-netbook.png is still the most useful image here for
geometry and colour, because it is a true screenshot rather than a
photograph -- pixel-exact, no lens, no colour cast. Measure sizes
and sample colours from this one and read the layout from the
prototype photograph.

Before and after the font fix. The rows in the first are 8px taller
each, which pushed the last row of OTHER underneath the dock.
