netBook LX / netBook Pro install toolchain

2026-09-27. This directory was never referenced in any of the guides; it
was found by scraping every URL ever posted across five HPC:Factor threads.

  nBkPro.img              300 B    THE BOOST PARTITIONING SCRIPT.
      Contains the literal string "netBook LX BooSt script" and the
      LX-prototype NAND values:
          nand -ignore erase 18 ee8
          nand partition e8
      This is a genuine piece of the PsionLX toolchain.
      IMPORTANT: netbook-booting.txt states a normal netBook Pro needs
      7e8 instead of e8. Using the LX value on a stock NBP is wrong.

  netbook-booting.txt   3,958 B    The install process, in detail.
      Documents the four files Boost needs, the binary header format
      (checksum, image flags, load offset 0x00100000, platform id
      0x326B426E, image id 0x53745342) and the kernel+initrd wrapper.

  mk-nBkProOsImg.c      5,496 B    Source of the tool that builds the
      combined kernel+initrd Boost image.

  nBkProOs.img      3,403,850 B    Combined kernel + initrd, Boost-bootable.
      A different build from ~florian's nBkProOs.img_cf.

  gpe-image.jffs2  22,822,912 B    GPE root filesystem, JFFS2.
      LARGER than ~florian's 15.4 MB gpe-image-3.5.4.1 build, so a
      different and probably fuller image. Verified JFFS2.

MISSING: NBLXLoad.sh
    The shell script the initrd calls to write the root filesystem to
    flash. Wayback holds nine captures and every one is HTTP 403: the
    server refused to serve .sh files, so only the 403 page was archived.
    Its function is described in netbook-booting.txt.
