     The photographs this reconstruction was measured against. Where
     Psion's own code did not survive, these are the only evidence of
     what PsionLX looked like.

         THE PRIMARY REFERENCE. A photograph of a real netBook Pro
         prototype running PsionLX, from pulster.de. It shows the
         Programs screen with 21 applications in four groups, the Psion
         watermark down the left, the TODAY / PROGRAMS / TASKS strip
         down the right with the red power button at its foot, and the
         dock along the bottom.

         Everything in the reconstruction that could not be taken from
         Psion's source was taken from this image: the application
         names, their grouping, the tab strip, the power button.

         are stock GPE on a netBook Pro -- the giveaway is that the Desk
         button carries GPE's own paw logo rather than Psion's. Included

     Psion's netBook Pro companion CD, dated 10 November 2004. Recovered
     from the Internet Archive.

     Entirely Windows-side and nothing to do with Linux, but it is a
     genuine Psion artefact and the user manuals are the best
     documentation of the hardware that exists:

     Documentation for the BooSt serial dongle, which is how you reach
     the bootloader prompt on this machine. Needed for anything in
     2-WINDOWS-CE-RESTORE.

     jLime 2012.3 for the netBook Pro: a full XFCE desktop on Linux
     3.2.9, seven years newer than PsionLX and completely unrelated to
     it. 28,423 files. Nothing Psion in it -- no GPE, no Psion branding.

     It is here for two reasons. It is the most capable Linux that was
     ever made to run on this hardware, so if you want a usable modern
     system rather than a historical reconstruction, this is it. And its
     kernel modules are a useful hardware reference (airo, hostap,
     orinoco, the Bluetooth PCMCIA cards).
