- To calculate the square of a number in algebraic
notation mode, enter the number, press the sqrt key
and press Enter.
- To calculate a number to a given power in formula
notation mode, enter the number, press the x^y key,
enter the power and press Enter.
Trigonometric Functions.
- To calculate the sine, cosine, or tangent of a
number, tap the sine, cosine or tangent keys. The
function name together with an opening bracket will
appear in the text entry field. Enter the number, a
closing bracket and press Enter.
Note: The same principle of data entry applies where
you want to calculate inverse sine, cosine and tangent,
hyperbolic sine, cosine and tangent and inverse
hyperbolic sine, cosine and tangent.
