On/Off, and power
		The Psion LX is an "instant-on" device. When you turn it off this is not like turning a PC off. All that happens is that the screen turns off and the power consumption is greatly reduced. The battery life is far in excess of typical laptop computers - the device can last for many days in this state without requiring a recharge. And as soon as you turn it on again, it springs into life. You can turn it off either by pressing "Off" (Fn+Esc) on the keyboard or by clicking the "Off" button on the Desktop. But perhaps the easiest way is just to close the lid. (Like with a fridge, it really does go off.) Opening the device, or pressing the Esc key, turns it on.
