Similarities and differences to PCs (1)
		The Psion LX uses the "Linux" operating system, and comes complete with a wide range of everyday programs built in. It feels very similar to other common systems, such as Microsoft Windows[TM] on PCs, though not as complex to use. There is no "windowing" - only one program is shown at one time, and it uses all the screen. The Psion LX has a bar across the bottom of the screen, to access running programs. However, all the main programs have a button at a fixed position on this bar, whether they are currently running or not. So, if you want to go to the Email program, it is always just one click away, in the same place on screen. If you like to use keyboard shortcuts, such as Ctrl+XCV for Cut/Copy/Paste, you will find you can use them anywhere you are editing - just like on your PC. You may be used to using the right-button on your PC mouse to click on something to bring up a small menu of things you can do with it. On the Psion LX touchscreen, you do this by "click&hold" - click down and hold.
