Using the Touchscreen (1)
		Some people find themselves nervous when using a touchscreen for the first time. There is no need - clicking a touchscreen, either with the supplied pen or with your finger, is quicker and easier even than using a PC mouse. And touchscreens are very robust indeed. Most things just need a single click but, exactly as on a PC, in a few places a single click just positions a highlight or cursor, and instead you need to double-click to open the item concerned. The commonest example is where filenames or other items are shown in a list. You may be used to using the right-button on the mouse, on your PC, to click on something and see a small menu of things you can do with it. On the Psion LX touchscreen, you do this by "click&hold" - click down and hold. (Minor point worth knowing: if you have highlighted an area of text, such as in the Word Processor, and you then want to click&hold, you need to hold down the Fn key when you do the click&hold, so that the highlight does not vanish.) You will have been asked to calibrate the touchscreen when you first used the device. If for some reason you think it is not properly calibrated at any point in the future, you can always select the Control Panel, from the Program screen on the Desktop. In there you will find an icon for Screen Setup. (Alternatively, you can just press Fn+C at any time and from any place to see this calibration screen.)
